About Me
Alright, a little about me. My name is Tim, and I am a collector of many different toy lines, as well as a dedicated customizer. I have been on various sites and forums under the names of Eyes-of-a-Snake (EOAS), as well as Timmahsan, and on one DarthShinobi.
Just to get a little about me out there, so that those of you who dont know me can get to know me a little better, I collect G.I.Joe action figures (Actually I only collect members of the Arashikage Ninja clan, but Joes none the less), as well as Star Wars action figures (ok, only Sith Lords, Dark Jedi, and Apprentices here too...lol), and recently Transformers.
I have been a customizer for a little over two years now, and have done a few commission pieces. I am interested in gaining some new work, as well as making some new friends in the trade. Anyone interested in commission pieces, please use the contact form on this page to get in touch with me so we can go over the details. I do only quality work, and I offer my work at a fair and reasonable price.
So far my work has had nothing but good things said about it, and I aim to keep it that way. I dont put my name on anything other than good quality work, and give everything I do a limited money back guarantee. What do I mean by "limited" you ask? My pieces are meant to be adult collectibles. They will stand up to posing, (and in the case of Transformers, transforming) and light play, but are not meant to be abusively or constantly roughly played with. I consider them "interactive works of art" meant to be displayed and posed/lightly played with by the adult collector, not tossed across a room and thrown into a toy box at night. I use primer specifically meant for plastic, nothing but quality (Tamiya and Model Masters) paints, and seal everything with a laquer clear coat. I also send photos of my work as I go (and from here on post them to the blog for all to see) to get the aproval of the buyer. I make darn good and sure you get EXACTLY what you payed for. Having said this, should something manage to make it through to you damaged or chipped, or in some way ends up not being like you thought it would based on the pictures, I will take it back and refund your money to you. Simple as that.
I urge everyone visiting here to check out my gallery of completed works, as well as check out my photo blog that I will be keeping up to date as I work on different pieces at least once a week if not more.
Well, this is my first website as most of you who know a thing or two about this type of thing can probably guess based on where it is located, but I am going to try to put this thing together the rest of the way now, and see how it comes out. I look forward to hearing from you with any questions or comments any of you may have about my work, as well as your ideas on what you may like for a commission piece. Please, use the contact form to get ahold of me, and dont limit yourself based on what I collect. I am also looking to expand the scope of my customs to other areas as well.
